My experience

Being honest this was my first big rapprochement whit the writing of blogs i've never really been a fan of the field humanist so write it's not something i'm too passionate about but the blogs have been an experience very interesting and fun. Also has been very relaxing and useful mentally have an academic momento where i can forget for a moment the exercises and subjects more scientific, but still so being fulfilling my responsibilities universitys, it's something i really liked this semester.

Even though i'm still very bad in english😢, i feel like i learned a lot of new words and expanded my vocabulary, but, no doubt what more increase was my interest in learning the english language, i feel like mood learn and hopefully in the not very distant future have a english fluid so much to talk about it, read it, write it and listen to it, now it's a new goal and it would be a great achievement comply💪.

I think the classes of the english lab are entertaining with this format of the blogs and personally was very practices to learn and  useful to interest me in learning english language🙆, so i'd keep this format for future generations.

Free time on quarantine

Currently we witness one of the most aggressive pandemics in world history, the covid-19. It's a virus that doesn't discriminate among nationality, profession, race, socio-economic clase, religion, etc. It can affect all of us and all we can do to prevent infection is to take full care maximun, staying in our home if possible, or if we need to leave, whether to work, buy or do paperwork, we must use our mask, in even taking measures more extreme.

Because of this our lifestyle has changed radically, if we are bored, we cannot go out, nor join with friends, even in our home as it is dangerous, therefore, our hobbies are limited to being creative with what we have at hand, in our homes. Although today is much easy thanks to technology, we can watch a movie or series, greet by video call with our loved people, and much more😋.

I must admit that unlike many people, my hobbies during quarantine have not changed too much, in my free time i like to watch movies, do exercises, cook pastries, read, anyway, most of them are things what i can do in the comfort of my home. However, what i miss most is meeting and enjoying myself with my family and friends👪.

Favorite subject :)

Probably sound rare say on a blog for english that my favorite subject is english III hahah but, it’s the truth😋.

In this subject, principally, elaborate weekly a blog written in english with a number of words and themes funny dictated by the teacher, but he is always flexible and good with all, besides, teaches us to read, speak and write this language correctly.

Writing in english (or try to write hahha) week to week and read blogs of my classmates has helped to learn new words, new themes, and even know me more and to my classmates.

Many times i’ve wanted understand and speak fluently english, but never has been thing mine, and even though i'm still fairly bad, this subject fact that my interest to learning this language be increase very much, so much so that now i prefer watch the movies and series in english and spanish subtitle to learn even more, several times i’ve been very surprised at myself understanding what they are talking without read the translation😱.

John Stith Pemberton

        I admit that i have never been asked what pharmacist i admire, my biggest idol in the area is Dr. Simi, who doesn't like the way he dances? But unfortunately it's just a publicity image from a pharmacy, so  get serious.
 The first thing i did was look for famous pharmacists and in my quest found that the inventor of the Coca-Cola was our colleague, i was very surprised, probably several knew this, but i didn't know it and i found it very interesting so i decided to look more about it… John Pemberton.

John Stith Pemberton was an American pharmaceutical chemist, was born on July 8 of 1831, in Knoxville, Georgia, and died on August 16 of 1888, in Atlanta.
John was a military servant during the civil war in 1865 where he received a sabre cut in his chest, he used morphine to soothe the pain, but became addicted to this. Looking for a cure for his addiction, he's dedicated to inventing “medicine final and the alcoholic drink perfect” so get to the Coca-Cola that in its pioneering version was called Pemberton’s French Wine Coca and he wore wine and cocaine. Later, it's passed a dry law in Atlanta and had to make a new format non-alcoholic, of this is the original formula of Coca-Cola.
Pemberton he didn’t know get profits with his invention and died  at 57 years old, in the poverty, addicted to morphine, cocaine and with stomach cancer.

Conclusión, i don’t think so was a very dignified man to admire, but if a story worthy of counting.

Pharmaceutical

    Even though i am still just a student of chemistry and pharmacy, i already have an idea of what being a pharmacist means.

Before entering to university i never knew right what i wanted to study, then i had to investigate a lot about the careers that called me attention, also learned a lot more during my semesters in the faculty, thanks to the teachers, to my classmates and my own interest in the career that has been increasing a lot.

Chemistry and pharmacy has a huge job opportunity, many areas that i can dedicate myself to in the future, but all of them have as their main purpose, to be a contribution to society, and that is what i like the most😍. I dream of becoming a future next in a great pharmaceutical, create drugs to save lives, guide the people to a better self careful, among other things.

Sometimes i think how much i'd like right now have all the knowledge needed to find a cure against the Covid-19, to be canto help the planet with the severe pandemic we are going through, i don't want it to go on getting sick and even dying innocent people😔.

QUARANTINED BIRTHDAY

In the photo you see my birthday cake, i prepared myself hahaha, i remember that the day before my birthday with my mom we quickly went downtown to buy one thing else to eat the next day, among them, a cake, but no pastry was open and i told my mother, it doesn't matter, i myself cook something to sing birthday haha, i made some biscuits style pancake, a chantilly cream of lucuma and added also sweet of milk and damask jam, and so i went layer by layer filling it with each filling, then decore it with chantilly cream, colorful sparks and chocolate sauce. Evidently my birthday cake was not the cutest😂😂 but I assure you that taste was super exquisite.

May 15 (my birthday) first i participated in online classes then shared with my family, was a lonely day, i spent it alone with my mother, my godmother and my dog, because, my father and brother, unfortunately, despite the coronavirus and all that envolves, must continue to work😞, like many of our families.

I chose this photo because i feel that it conveys a lot of what this quarantine has been for many of us, surrounded by our closest loved ones and no one else, with simplicity and without much to do beyond eating, sleeping and studying😒.

Toddy with chispas

Hello, today i’ll tell you about my pet😍, he’s a dog poddle brown, his name is “Toddy con chispas Facundo León” , yes, it has a lot of names because i’m very indecisive😅 but everyone they call it “Toddy” o “Toto”, those who don't know him much call it “Tobby” hahaha. Fulfilled 4 years on may 17, and has been almost four years with me, as i arrive a month and a half of live, it was so small, looked like a stuffed animal. He’s very loving💖, likes to gifting and play although he also likes to sleep a lot.

Today, like most, i find myself studying from home because of the pandemic covid-19, so i can spend a lot of time with my dog💕, he accompanies me all day. While i'm in class or studying, he lies in my bed and sleeps, every time i look at him, i envy him and it makes me want to go to sleep with him.
